So, all three of us are playing in the back bedroom and OUT OF COMPLETE NOWHERE I hear the words..da da da come out of my beautiful 8 1/2 month old daughters mouth. I just don't know if I even have words...I have been coaching, singing, repeating momma, momma, momma, since the day she was born, in hopes that my hard work and dedication to being a wonderful mommy had paid off and the first word out of her mouth would make it all worth while. Then I thought awe, that doesn't count, but as I sit and write this I'm being serenaded by the words, da da da da and I don't think it's a fluke. Sigh. What do you guys think, I'm hearing incorrectly, right...RIGHT! Nathan is the proudest Daddy in the world right now, so I guess that makes everything better...well just a little.

I miss you guys... wanna come over for Easter????
Poor Jamie jo. That is the cruelest video I have ever seen. I never thought I would see the day when Bayla could be so mean. Shame, shame, Bayla jo!
;)
my friend told me that babies almost always say da da first because its the way they develop their speaking abilities.....so really the 1st word doesn't count unless they KNOW what they are saying. If she just says it it doesn't count. You tell nathan i said so! (now keep working on ma ma ma!!) yes we do need a play date i'm available this weekend although she has shots on fri morning ;(
